VCH also accepts faxed referrals on our Referral Form from Family doctors, emergency department and other community partners.

 

Please note – psychiatry services require a written referral from a physician and can be obtained from a family doctor or other attending physician.

VCH HOpe Centre

The HOpe Centre Mental Health Inpatient Unit provides acute inpatient assessment and treatment services. Services are multi-disciplinary with the goal of stabilizing the acute illness and linking the patient to community mental health and substance use services for follow up and continued treatment and recovery.

VCH Overdose Outreach

Using Street Drugs and Looking for Support? Things in your life that you would like to work on? Happy with your drug use or not, you can get support with things like: 
•    Connecting to addictions care if wanted (i.e. methadone, suboxone, etc.)
•    Accessing harm reduction supplies (Naloxone Kit, Safe Injection Kit, Fentanyl Drug Test Strips, etc.)
•    Work on your own goals (i.e. Socializing, Nutrition, Parenting, Job Skills, Budgeting, etc.) 
You don’t need to be interested in changing your drug use to access any of the above services
